About the 30th Annual RIE® Conference
Resources for Infant Educarers®, (RIE®), is proud to announce its 30th Annual Infant-Toddler Conference for the early childhood/parent field. The 2019 Conference will take place at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 7:45 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. This yearly event is open to all those involved in supporting the healthy development of infants and toddlers, including parents, teachers, childcare professionals, doctors, nurses and early interventionists of all types. RIE is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to infants and all those who care for them, founded in 1978 by renowned infant specialist Magda Gerber and pediatric neurologist Tom Forrest, M.D.
The conference will kick off with a keynote address by Dr. Tina Payne Bryson. She is the co-author of The Whole Brain Child and The Yes Brain. Conference attendees will also hear from a number of other notable experts from across the country, including Ruth Anne Hammond, author of Respecting Babies (published by Zero to Three), Jill Getto Lee, Patty Ryan, Linda Hinrichs, Karla Kuester, Liz Memel, Elsa Chahin, Erica Orasco, Simone Demarzi, and more.
